Role of Inspiration function in Human Design for Business
Our Mind helps to drive new ideas and to focus on what is better for us.
However, do we get sidelined or too driven through these societal pressures or does this pressure build inside us? The way we think and what inspires us is important as our perceptions flow through the thoughts.
Do we remain focused or complicate the thoughts with pressure to get the answers or overwhelmed with inspiring ideas or memories?
In business, many of us have bosses who inspired us to do better in our careers and we often look back and reflect on how it made our lives better today.
As per Harvard Business Review, when employees are not just engaged but inspired they often lead to better growth for the companies.
We often connect with those colleagues and inspirational leaders positively, even when we have left those projects or jobs, the leaders may have left a positive impact on our minds.
There are other leaders who were very focused objectively and even though some experiences with them were challenging. For example we may have been into implementing new projects which actually failed initially and these new project ideas were shared by those inspiring leaders in our lives. The learning cycle from those project implementations was still useful and a wonderful opportunity when we look back to those moments.
However, leaders or peers who did not inspire but forced unrealistic demands or pressure, made us take decisions from a place of fear for survival or pressure in the homogenous society. These experiences created past memories and quite often those are not quite good.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
~ Carl R. Rogers

Getting into multiple inspirational ideas and being confused sometimes is okay. You could feel excited or have anxiety about how new ideas may be taken by others in your team. This may lead us to make hasty decisions, especially when conversing with others or consuming social media and news.
We sometimes easily fall into this pressure. Our mind excels at observing, learning, and absorbing information, but often ends up second-guessing your true Decision-Making Strategy. You must be wondering what is this Decision-Making Strategy, if new to Human Design System. In simple terms, Decision Making Strategy (DMS) is based on how you interact mechanically ( based on your Human Design type ) with the world and use your Authority to overcome overthinking and work based on your true self. When your decisions are aligned with your both mind, body and purpose of your soul. Things begin to work without resistance and you get better in recognizing the signals emotional clarity,
Our minds operate like computer binaries—1s and 0s—before processing begins. Often, we find ourselves leaning one way or the other, unsure whether to fully accept the facts or act on them. In those moments, our minds might deceive us, only for us to realize later that we made a mistake.
“Don’t wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect.”
~ Albert Einstein
When uncertain, the mind often encourages us to rely on different functions, such as experiencing emotional waves or feeling a sudden urge to act unusually. This can include the pressure to prove oneself, seek certainty, conform, follow others' advice, or adhere to personal expectations.
Our minds can play games and we may end up making key decisions with laid-back procrastination or quickly without evaluating enough. Many times we make decisions under pressure or emotionally driven by our own or others around us.
In an unhealthy way, we may attempt to resolve the pressure driven through many inspirational ideas through outside interactions. Sometimes individuals with undefined Head Center - Inspirational function in the Human Design BG5 Human Design chart may experience heightened anxiety and self-doubt.
When in anxiety, I have missed opportunities or made decisions in a bit of a hurry. Confusion and doubt about concepts or new learning is a normal part, hence speaking before the confusion settles down is critical. I often had rush of ideas and needed that solo time to settle and then chart out plans for implementation in my projects.
Becoming impatient never helped but only caused more trouble for me.
In business interactions, many of us have faced resistance when we oppose other colleague's ideas.
“I thought yesterday was the first day of the rest of my life but it turns out today is.”
~ Steve Martin
